This car is rated at 24 - 34 mpg city and 31- 43 mpg highway. I love this car, its been a real trooper, but finally something has happened that is out of my diy repair field. A rear brake line has ruptured due to the numerous Michigan winters this car has driven through. The car runs great, it will start without hesitation even after sitting for a week in below freezing weather. I have never been stuck in the snow with this car. It is a 5 speed manual, and it is the best shifting car i've ever owned, 1st gear is geared so low that its almost impossible to stall when taking off. Its small and fun to drive. It drives very straight and doesn't pull to either side. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but its just sitting in my driveway and i can't fix it. The car has the rust, wear and tear you would expect from a 19 year old car, so buyer should go through all mechanicals. Hopefully someone with a lift and some good tools can fix the brake lines, i believe the engine has a lot of life left in it. Buyer will have to tow or trailer car because of the broken brake line.
